You can also take advantage of the rare opportunity to crawl through a teepee and other traditional native dwellings. It will be an experience you won’t forget!
Make Fun Crafts and Gain New Skills
The festival has plenty of experiences that everyone can enjoy together or even alone. Take a look at the hand-crafted work from world-renowned Native artists that you can purchase as a unique gift. You can even learn skills such as flint-knapping, bow making, fire starting, open fire cooking, and pottery. The best part is that even after the festival is over, you can take your new skills home with you to share and sharpen!
Dance to the Beat of the Drum
You can’t attend a Native American festival without music and dancing. Experience the important role of dance in native cultures as Native Americans from across the U.S compete in the Dance and Drum Competition.

To enter, arrive early and wear the proper regalia. Registration will be done on site and is free to enter.
