If you’re headed to the Opryland Hotel and Resort between May 18th and May 21st of this year, you’re probably in town for the Nashville Boogie: Vintage Weekender & Car Show. The Nashville Boogie is a huge celebration of mid-century American music and style. Events are happening at The Grand Ole Opry House, Gaylord Opryland Hotel and Resort, and the Nashville Palace. There are over 90 acts happening from Thursday through Sunday. Some of the main attractions of the four-day event include:
- An Indoor Car Show
- Western Fashion Show
- Vintage Market with over 50 vendors
- Pinup Contest
- Record Convention
- And More
In addition to the events listed above, the Nashville Boogie will include tons of live music. You’re visiting Music City, USA, after all! The lineup of this year’s musicians is extensive and there’s something to see and listen to every day.
While most events are taking place at the three locations listed above (one of which you’ll most likely be lodging in), Nashville Boogie’s opener will be taking place in another location. Be sure to check out Donelson Bowl on Wednesday evening for the kickoff. This will be taking place from 6-10 pm on May 17th and you can attend for a cover of $10. With a live DJ and bowling included in the entry fee, you won’t want to miss this fun, retro event leading up to an exciting four days.
