1. Georgia Sea Turtle Center – Explore and learn about the sea turtle at this hands on interactive conservation center. They put an emphasis on education of the unique Jekyll Island ecosystem, and how we can preserve it. It’s a full sea turtle rehabilitation center, and is open to the public to witness these beautiful creatures.
2. Driftwood Beach – On the north side of the island located just under Saint Simons Island, sits the magnificent Driftwood Beach. See the iconic Jekyll Island driftwood positioned along the beach, definitely an Instagram worthy destination.
3. Jekyll Island Museum – A great free admission museum located in the heart of the historic district. Learn about Jekyll Islands colorful history and take a walk around downtown to admire the beautiful Southern architecture.
