The Atlanta Jazz Festival is happening Memorial Day Weekend, May 26th through the 28th, 2017. It’s one of the largest FREE jazz festivals in the country, so if you’re in or around Atlanta during this time, it’s a live music event you won’t want to miss. The Atlanta Jazz Festival takes place in Piedmont Park, just a mile from downtown Atlanta.
Live Music Friday Through Sunday
The Atlanta Jazz Festival kicks off Friday evening at Legends Stage with The Pedrito Martinez Group at 7 pm followed by Robert Glasper Experience at 9 pm. On Saturday, shows will be featured at Legends Stage, Contemporary Stage, Next Gen Stage, and Park Tavern at Piedmont Park, which will feature the Late Night Jazz Jam beginning at 11 pm. On Sunday, music will be featured at the three main stages, beginning at 12:30 pm.

In honor of Atlanta Jazz Festival’s 40th anniversary, the city is celebrating with 40 Days of Jazz.
