Maryville, Tennessee’s 3rd annual Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival is taking place Friday, June 23rd and Saturday, June 24th, 2017. This is an event that beer lovers won’t want to miss! Mark your calendars and make your way to Maryville to enjoy this two-day festival — or plan a week-long trip and explore all that this historic East Tennessee town has to offer.

A Festival That’s More Than Just Drinking

Hops in the Hills Craft Beer Festival isn’t only about tasting all kinds of delicious, local beers (although, we wouldn’t complain if it was only that). This festival features an exploration of how beer is made, as well as the unique processes these breweries use to create their beloved craft beers.

The Science and Agriculture of Beer

Are you interested in learning about the chemistry of beer? How about the sustainable practices these local breweries implement when it comes to agriculture and production? Well, you’re in luck! This is “A Celebration of Fermentation” after all. From the hops to the barley, wheat, fruits, and more, you’ll get to explore how key ingredients make their way from the ground and into the beer in your glass.

Don’t Forget About Live Music

What better way to enjoy the summer than to kick back with a refreshing beer and some of the best music to roll through town. After you’ve learned more about one of your favorite drinks, sway to the tune of a live band or two. The music lineup has yet to be announced, but anticipate something great.
